Job Summary
Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment. Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems, including road-testing vehicles to verify successful fixes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology and uphold company values in all interactions. Requires Automotive Flat Rate Technician experience, specifically servicing Volkswagen vehicles, along with ASE certification or specialized area credentials. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and successful completion of background check, MVR, and drug screening are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive Flat Rate Technician experience
- Previous experience servicing Volkswagen vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check
- Must pass MVR
- Must pass drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s)
- certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
