Job Summary
Mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires while inspecting vehicles for wear, damage, and basic maintenance concerns. Assist customers with tire recommendations and service needs by performing basic vehicle services and safety inspections. Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently while helping maintain inventory, shop cleanliness, and organization within a team-oriented environment. This full-time role includes ongoing training and career growth opportunities at Gills Point S, where we prioritize family values and customer safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in an active shop environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Team player who enjoys helping customers
- Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds, and safely operating shop equipment while working in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must be able to perform work both inside the shop and outdoors in varying weather conditions while following all company safety policies
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive or tire experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
