Job Summary
Diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive client relationships. Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor, communicate additional service requests, and provide labor time estimates. Plan work procedures, monitor repair time, and update the service advisor regularly. Complete story and documentation for client repairs, assist in mentoring technician trainees, and attend company and factory training. Keep current with factory technical bulletins, adhere to dealership policies on vehicle care, and follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal. Maintain a clean work area, use proper PPE, and apply safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One-three years of related experience and training
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must keep the vehicle you are working on clean and free of grease and oil
- Applies proper use of PPE and adheres to safety standards in the shop environment
