Job Summary
Diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive relationships with returning customers. Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor, communicate additional service requests, and plan work procedures cooperatively. Provide labor time estimates, monitor repair time, and update service advisors regularly. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies, complete documentation for client repairs, and assist in mentoring technician trainees. Attend company and factory training to stay current with technical bulletins and follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturer certification preferred
- Experience with various brands preferred
