Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles accurately and efficiently while performing maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer standards. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify needed repairs, then document findings, recommendations, and completed repairs clearly. Communicate with service advisors regarding diagnosis and repair progress, and road-test vehicles when necessary to verify repairs. Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe, and complete required manufacturer training and certifications. Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction in a busy service department environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have your own basic automotive tools
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Dependable, motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
- Ability to pass applicable pre-employment requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Previous automotive repair experience is preferred
- Mazda or other manufacturer dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Virginia State Inspection certification is a plus
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment
