Job Summary
Automotive Service Technician responsible for performing automotive repairs and service per repair orders to Lithia and manufacturer standards. Duties include diagnosing malfunctions, road-testing vehicles to verify quality of repair, recording time and test results, maintaining tool inventory and a clean workspace, and ensuring customer vehicles are returned in good condition. Requires ASE Master Technician certification (or equivalent), manufacturer certifications in listed areas, and 3-5 years of experience. Must complete required training, communicate with dealership personnel, and comply with safety and grooming standards; position based in Honolulu, HI with full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required
- Minimum of 1 ASE certification (Master Technician preferred)
- Manufacturer certified in all areas listed: Lube and Maintenance Services, Engine Repair, Suspension/Steering Repair, Brake Repair, Heating and A/C Repair
- Three to five years’ automotive experience
- Passed manufacturer training and ability to perform repairs with no supervision in listed areas
- Customer Pay Proficiency Level: Greater than 100%
