Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair orders with efficiency while diagnosing and fixing engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems. Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs and explain mechanical diagnoses in non-technical terms to service advisors and customers. Inspect new vehicles, record findings, and continuously learn new technical information through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology. Maintain a high level of customer service while utilizing shop equipment such as diagnostic tools and alignment systems.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- ASE Certified
- Team oriented
- Flexible
- Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
