Examine vehicles for safety or service needs, prepare repair reports, and estimate flat-rate times using factory manuals. Perform authorized work with efficiency and accuracy, order parts upon authorization, and save/tag parts for warranty or insurance claims. Road-test vehicles after service if wheels are removed or drivability is affected, ensuring all repairs are thorough and completed on time. Supervise apprentice technicians, attend factory and dealer training, and stay current on technical bulletins and emerging technologies. Maintain a clean shop environment, dispose of hazardous waste according to regulations, and prevent comebacks through high concentration.
