Job Summary
Check oil levels, inflate tires, and inspect fluid levels as required for Quick Lube Technician duties. Perform repairs specified on repair orders, test-drive vehicles, and diagnose systems including engines, transmissions, and brakes using diagnostic tools. Communicate directly with Service Advisors regarding additional service needs and provide time estimates. Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications while maintaining excellent customer service. This family-owned shop offers ASE certification reimbursement, hands-on training, and a career path with promotion from within.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
