Job Summary
Interact with Service Advisors to obtain work orders and customer service requirements. Inspect motor vehicles in operation, road test units, and use computerized diagnostic devices to diagnose faults in engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems. Adjust, repair, or replace parts using hand and power tools, then evaluate repaired systems against manufacturer specifications. Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes and tune-ups, while completing detailed inspection reports to record problems and work performed. Effectively communicate with customers regarding vehicle condition and future repair needs. Consistently work independently to confirm findings with supervisors and determine repair or replacement actions.
Required Qualifications
- 310s Certification
- Able to perform Advanced Passenger Light Truck maintenance and repair
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
- Strong Communication skills
- Independent problem-solving skills
