Job Summary
Perform oil changes, brake system repairs, and tire installations including balancing and wheel alignment. Diagnose and repair starting and charging systems, steering and suspension issues, and shock/strut installations. Install batteries, head lamps, trailer hitches, and wiring. Provide excellent customer service while reading and speaking English effectively. Work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend. Requires a valid driver's license, prior auto repair experience preferred, and ASE A3-A6 certifications for Tech Level III. Located in Michigan stores only.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
