Job Summary
Perform oil changes, brake system repair, and steering and suspension work while installing tires, batteries, and head lamps. Diagnose starting and charging systems, perform wheel balancing and alignments, and install shock/strut assemblies, trailer hitches, and wiring. Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout all service center duties. This role requires a valid driver's license, ASE A3-A6 certifications, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Candidates must pass drug screenings and background checks, read and speak English, and possess strong communication skills. Prior auto repair experience is preferred, with progression available through on-the-job training. Michigan stores only.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
