Job Summary
Perform oil changes, brake system repairs, and steering/suspension work while installing tires, batteries, and head lamps. Diagnose starting and charging systems, perform wheel balancing, shock/strut installation, and vehicle alignments. Install trailer hitches and wiring as needed, delivering excellent customer service throughout all tasks. Complete progressive on-the-job training to advance skills. Requires a valid driver's license, ASE A3-A6 certifications, and ability to work evenings and weekends. Michigan residents only.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
