Job Summary
As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you’ll perform a wide range of services in our Automotive Service Center, including tire repair/install, balancing wheels, installing batteries and headlamps, performing oil changes, brake system repair, steering and suspension work, shock/strut installation, and wheel alignments. You may also install trailer hitches and wiring, with other duties assigned as you gain progressive on-the-job training. Must have a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, be able to work evenings and at least every other weekend, pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks, be able to read and speak English, and be 18 years of age or older. Prior auto repair experience and retail experience are preferred. This posting notes Michigan-specific ASE certifications for Tech Level II (A4 and A6) or Tech Level III (A3, A4, A5, A6) or their equivalent Michigan certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must have great communication skills

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Michigan Stores Only ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II and ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III OR equivalent Michigan certifications
