Job Summary
Perform tire repairs, wheel balancing, and battery installations while executing oil changes, brake system fixes, and steering/suspension work. Diagnose starting and charging issues, install shock struts, and handle alignments, trailer hitch wiring, and other assigned duties. Requires a valid driver's license, ASE A3-A6 certifications, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Must work evenings and alternate weekends, pass drug screening and background checks, and hold Michigan residency.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
