Job Summary
Perform oil changes, brake system repairs, and tire installation while balancing wheels and aligning vehicles. Install batteries, head lamps, trailer hitches, and wiring, and repair starting, charging, steering, and suspension systems. Deliver excellent customer service and complete other duties assigned with progressive on-the-job training. This role requires a valid driver's license, ASE A3-A6 certifications, and the ability to work evenings and every other weekend. Located in Michigan, this position offers paid ASE testing, a 401(k) match, and an associate discount on tools and apparel.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
