Job Summary
Perform a wide range of services in the Automotive Service Center, including repairing and installing tires, balancing wheels, changing oil, and fixing brake, steering, and suspension systems. Install batteries, head lamps, trailer hitches, and wiring while providing excellent customer service. Complete tasks such as shock/strut installation and alignments under progressive on-the-job training. Must possess a valid driver's license, ASE A3, A4, A5, or A6 certifications, and strong communication skills. Ability to work evenings and every other weekend is required. Michigan stores only.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
