Job Summary
Perform oil changes, repair brake systems, and install tires while diagnosing starting, charging, steering, and suspension issues. Balance wheels, align vehicles, and install batteries, head lamps, trailer hitches, and wiring. Provide excellent customer service and complete other duties assigned with progressive on-the-job training. This role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication skills, and ASE A3-A6 certifications. Candidates must be able to work evenings and every other weekend, pass drug screening and background checks, and read/speak English. Prior auto repair and retail experience are preferred. Michigan stores only.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
