Job Summary
Perform tire repairs, balance wheels, and install batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts. Conduct oil changes, brake system repairs, and work on starting, charging, steering, and suspension systems. Install shock struts, perform wheel alignments, and mount trailer hitches with wiring. Maintain excellent customer service while reading and speaking English effectively. Work evenings when needed and every other weekend. Must hold a valid driver's license, pass drug screening and background checks, and be at least 18 years old. ASE A3, A4, A5, or A6 certifications required depending on level. Prior auto repair experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
