Job Summary
As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you'll perform a wide range of services such as tire repair/installation, wheel balancing, oil changes, brake and starting/charging system repairs, steering and suspension work, and installation of trailer hitches; additional duties with progressive on-the-job training. Excellent customer service and clear communication with customers and coworkers are essential. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to work evenings and every other weekend, and English proficiency; prior auto repair and retail experience preferred. ASE certifications (A3/A4/A5/A6) for Michigan stores may be required for certain Tech levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Michigan Stores Only ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II and ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III OR equivalent Michigan certifications.
