Job Summary
Perform a wide range of services in the Automotive Service Center, including tire repair and installation, wheel balancing, battery and head lamp installation, oil changes, brake system repair, and steering and suspension work. Diagnose and repair starting and charging systems, install shock struts, perform wheel alignments, and mount trailer hitches with wiring. Maintain excellent customer service while reading and speaking English effectively. Work evenings when needed and every other weekend. Must hold a valid driver's license, pass drug screening and background checks, and be 18 or older. ASE A3, A4, A5, or A6 certifications required. Prior auto repair experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
