Job Summary
As a Service Center Automotive Technician at Blain's Farm & Fleet, you will perform a wide range of automotive services including tire repair/installations, wheel balancing, battery and headlamp replacements, oil changes, and brake system repairs. The role requires excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers. Candidates should be able to work evenings and weekends and must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks. A valid driver's license is required. Prior auto repair and/or retail experience is preferred. Certification requirements vary by tech level and Michigan stores may require ASE certifications (A4, A6 for Tech II; A3, A4, A5, A6 for Tech III or equivalent Michigan certifications). This is a full-time position located in Monroe, WI, with potential for weekend premium pay considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Great communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Michigan stores only: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II; ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III or equivalent Michigan certifications
