Job Summary
Perform a wide range of services in the Automotive Service Center, including tire repair and installation, wheel balancing, battery and head lamp installation, oil changes, and brake system repair. Deliver excellent customer service while reading and speaking English effectively to communicate with clients and coworkers. Maintain a valid driver's license and work evenings and every other weekend as needed. Prior auto repair experience is preferred, along with retail experience. This role is part of Blain's Farm & Fleet's advanced leadership training program, offering ASE testing and certification support for career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- ASE A4 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level II
- ASE A3, A4, A5 and A6 Certifications required for Tech Level III
- Equivalent Michigan certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Prior auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
