Automotive Service Technical Specialist (German speaking)

Job Summary
Act as the primary technical interface between the brand and its authorized service network across Europe, diagnosing vehicle concerns, guiding retailers through OEM procedures, and delivering repair solutions for electric vehicle systems, battery-related issues, software and connectivity functions. Responsibilities include analyzing technical inquiries from service partners, reviewing diagnostic data and repair documentation, escalating complex investigations, managing cases from submission to resolution, and providing technical guidance to workshop technicians while ensuring compliance with OEM standards and service quality. Requires hands-on automotive diagnostics experience, strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with EV technologies and OEM diagnostic tools, and fluency in German with advanced English. Hybrid working model in Budapest, with opportunities to support an international EV brand and participate in continuous professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical education
- Fluent German (C1)
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- 2–5 years of experience in automotive technical support, diagnostics, workshop operations, warranty assessment, or related fields
