Job Summary
Manage the service department's daily workflow, scheduling, and staff to meet customer needs and business goals. Greet and communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs, maintenance recommendations, and estimated timelines. Oversee accurate diagnosis of vehicle issues and ensure quality repairs are completed on schedule. Provide customers with clear, timely updates throughout the service process. Monitor department performance, customer satisfaction scores, and service revenue. Train, coach, and support service advisors and technicians while maintaining compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Solid math and analytical skills for estimates, billing, and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Prior automotive service management, service advising, or related dealership experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including service management software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
