Job Summary
Supervise technicians and service personnel by planning duties, assigning work, and following up on completion. Coach teammates on operational issues within ISI systems, enforce wheel torqueing processes, and ensure proper inspections are conducted. Manage parts inventory and outside purchases while updating and restocking in-house parts. Provide support in the store recruiting process by assisting with final employment decisions. Work directly with customers on sales, service opportunities, and adjustments. Evaluate performance and productivity of all service department personnel. Ensure store safety by maintaining safety equipment and supervising shop area compliance with company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding leadership and store management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Manager role
- Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
- Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
- Ability to meet the physical requirements listed for this role
