Job Summary
Supervise technicians and service personnel by planning duties, assigning work, and following up on completion. Coach teammates on operational issues within ISI systems, service standards, and wheel torqueing processes while ensuring proper inspections are conducted. Manage parts inventory and outside purchases to comply with the Tire Purchase Program, updating and restocking in-house parts as needed. Evaluate performance and productivity of all service department personnel and provide support in the store recruiting process for final employment decisions. Ensure store safety by maintaining safety equipment, enforcing company safety procedures, and verifying equipment/hardware layout compliance. Work directly with customers on sales, service opportunities, and adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Outstanding leadership and store management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Service Manager role
- Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
- Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
