Job Summary
Automotive Service Manager responsible for leading the service department at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers stores. Lead, coach, and mentor service team; supervise technicians and service personnel; plan and schedule duties; manage parts inventory and purchasing; drive customer-facing service opportunities and sales; ensure safety, process compliance, and efficient store operations; recruit support in collaboration with the Store Manager; maintain ISI service standards and inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role
- Outstanding leadership and store management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with mentoring abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
- Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
- Experience supervising technicians and service personnel
- Experience in inventory management and purchasing
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
