Job Summary
Automotive Service Manager needed to lead the service department at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. Responsibilities include supervising technicians and service personnel, planning and scheduling duties, coaching team members, assistingStore Manager with final employment decisions, working directly with customers on sales and service opportunities, evaluating performance, and managing parts inventory and safety procedures. Must demonstrate outstanding leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to mentor others while ensuring compliance with service standards and ISI systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and mentoring skills
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
- Coaching personnel on enforcing wheel torqueing process
- Ensuring store safety and compliance with safety procedures
