Job Summary
Automotive Service Manager responsible for leading the service department at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. Duties include supervising technicians and service personnel, planning and scheduling duties, assisting Store Manager with final employment decisions, coaching team on operational issues and ISI systems, handling customer interactions and opportunities, managing parts inventory and adherence to Tire Purchase Program, enforcing safety and equipment placement, ensuring inspections and safety procedures, and driving performance through strong leadership, communication, and mentorship in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Service Manager role
- Solid knowledge of basic OSHA laws and MSDS Compliance
- Outstanding leadership and store management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with mentoring ability to ensure efficiency
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
