Automotive Service Manager

Job Summary
Oversell daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Hire, train, develop, and motivate the service department staff while monitoring their performance. Develop and monitor budgets for the service department, keeping dealership management informed of variances. Ensure the department meets all customer satisfaction (CSI) and financial goals by forecasting objectives and demonstrating behaviors consistent with company values in all interactions. Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business, while ensuring common courtesy is shown to all customers. Schedule training as necessary to properly repair and service vehicles and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations.
Required Qualifications
- Previous service manager experience
- Experience managing technicians and service advisors
- Ability to run an efficient and productive service department
- Ability to manage a reconditioning department
- Ability to generate sales with high customer satisfaction
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must have a valid driver's license
