Job Summary
Coordinate maintenance and repair of vehicles for the Automotive Shop by serving as foreman, filling out work orders, ordering parts, and delivering supplies. Manage fuel system operations by calculating usage, preparing comparison reports, handling gasoline and oil orders, and charging quantities to departments. Perform clerical duties including entering vehicle data, answering phones, filing reports, and processing invoices. Operate a two-way radio to dispatch personnel for emergency roadside repairs and interact with vendors to procure quotes and monitor warehouse equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of related experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Equivalent of specialized vocational training in automotive mechanics or a closely related field
- Valid state driver's license
- Meet minimum driving standards
- Willingness to work non-standard and overtime hours as required
- Successful completion of background screening
- Successful completion of drug testing
- Successful completion of driving record review
