Job Summary
Automotive Service B technician skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing a wide range of diagnostics and maintenance using state-of-the-art computer systems. Responsibilities include tires and tire repair, heating and air conditioning, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling, batteries and charging, brakes, oil changes, check engine light, mufflers/exhaust, and visual safety inspections. Requires ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with peers; must have knowledge of car systems, safety/environmental standards, and experience with shop equipment (lifts, tire-changing equipment, alignment machines, scan tools). Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; state-specific auto repair certifications; valid driver’s license; own tools preferred. Passion for high personal productivity and safety in a full-service automotive facility with opportunities for training and development.
