Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary
Greet customers promptly, determine the reason for the visit and the mechanical maintenance needs, perform vehicle walk-arounds with customers, review maintenance history, and present repair options with benefits. Sell recommended service work based on mechanic’s diagnosis, provide written cost estimates and estimated repair times, inform dispatcher of incoming work, and coordinate with technicians and the parts department to ensure timely completion. Maintain clear customer updates (minimum twice daily), verify warranty/service contract coverage and administer qualifying claims, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Review completed work and charges with the customer and/or send a digital invoice, while collaborating daily with the BDC team to respond to inquiries and ensure a smooth service experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not required
- Must be organized, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
