Job Summary
Greet customers professionally and document their concerns while inspecting vehicles to verify service needs. Recommend services based on appropriate knowledge, communicate technician updates, and provide accurate quotes including cost and completion time. Track warranty parts and returns, follow up on declined services to ensure satisfaction, and process ticket cashouts with warranty explanations. Update customers daily on service status and adhere to company standards and expectations. Work Monday through Saturday in a shop environment with potential exposure to noise, dust, and hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Professional appearance
- Proven ability to work in a process driven environment
- Possess current, valid driver's license
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license within 30 days of hire date
- Ability to work Monday - Saturday
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Full range of motion with arms and hands
- Ability to feel, handle or grasp objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
