Job Summary
Service Advisor at Sheehy Auto Stores greets customers, listens to repair needs, and articulates repair and maintenance costs to customers and technicians. The role involves presenting recommended services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods, providing accurate estimates, following dealership policies, updating customers on progress, selling and managing extended warranties, inspecting repair quality, notifying customers when vehicles are ready, explaining repairs and costs, addressing customer concerns, and maintaining CSI scores. Requires strong customer communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with service department operations and DMS tools (Reynolds & Reynolds or similar), and authorized work status in the USA.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor is preferred
- Reynolds & Reynolds or similar DMS proficiency preferred
- Must have strong customer communication skills both in-person and on the phone
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be able to manage in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and company policies regarding the safeguarding of all customer, company, and manufacturer information, as well as customers' vehicles and property
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record Check, and drug screening
- Must have a valid driver's license
