Automotive Service Advisor / Service BDC Specialist

Job Summary
Welcome customers, perform vehicle walkarounds, and act as the primary liaison between clients and technicians. Translate technical diagnoses into clear explanations, write detailed repair orders, provide cost/time estimates, and secure customer approvals. Keep clients informed throughout the day via phone, text, and email, then review completed work orders during pickup and collect payments. Conduct outbound calls, texts, and emails to schedule routine maintenance, recall campaigns, and deferred service work. Promptly respond to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and web chat, while performing post-service follow-ups to ensure satisfaction. Maintain clean customer records within the dealership management system. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off, competitive compensation including bonuses, and access to health insurance and 401(k) plans.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- ability to pass background checks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Confident, welcoming phone presence
- Comfortable navigating dealership management systems (DMS)
- CRM software

- Ability to multitask

Desired Qualifications
- Prior dealership service writing experience
- automotive BDC experience
- General Motors / Chevy experience
