Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor within City of Toronto Fleet Services. Responsibilities include receiving driver reports, generating repair orders in FMIS, scheduling and monitoring maintenance, coordinating with supervisors, handling warranty/contracted services, coordinating parts/labor, communicating with clients, preparing daily reports, dispatching mechanics, arranging external repair services, and maintaining/updating work orders. Requirements include automotive/fleet customer service experience, proficiency with MS Office and FMIS, strong customer service focus, valid Ontario G license (DZ is a plus), and excellent communication skills. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess and maintain a valid Province of Ontario Class “G” Driver's Licence
- Possess knowledge of maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment
- Extensive experience in automotive, truck and coach or fleet customer service environment
- Experience with FMIS such as Asset Works M5TM or equivalent
- Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety act and regulations
- Must be eligible for the City's equipment operating permit per Fleet Safety Policy
- Willingness to work varying shifts
- Current Class DZ license is an asset
