Greet customers, obtain vehicle data, and determine the nature of desired service or complaints. Write clear repair instructions for technicians, provide labor and parts estimates, and communicate with dispatch to track job status. Coordinate with manufacturers for warranty approvals, test drive repaired vehicles for quality control, and satisfy immediate service needs using low-key, high-integrity methods. Promote sales of labor, parts, and accessories while meeting or exceeding management quotas. Maintain relationships with owners to ensure cars are fixed right the first time.
