Job Summary
Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and build a strong, trusting relationship by explaining repair and maintenance options. Translate customer problems into clear instructions for technicians while managing service appointments and coordinating with staff to ensure efficient workflow. Provide written cost estimates, obtain customer approval for repairs, and process accurate repair orders and invoices. Communicate repair progress and timelines, administer warranty repairs, and follow up to ensure satisfaction. Serve as the central point of contact between customers, service managers, technicians, and the parts department. Identify repeat repairs and work with technicians to find cost-effective solutions. Requires ASE certifications, manufacturer training, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Valid and Clean Driver's License
- Excellent listening and verbal skills
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues for both the customer and the service department
