Job Summary
Greet service customers, listen to vehicle concerns, and provide logical diagnostic services with accurate estimates. Handle minor complaints with courtesy, escalate unresolved issues to management, and answer incoming calls promptly. Sell recommended maintenance services and repairs based on customer needs while obtaining proper authorization for add-ons. Write and document repair orders thoroughly, track job progress, and monitor special order parts status. Confirm appointments, update customers on completion, and report safety or integrity concerns to management. Meet sales objectives and coordinate with technical staff on job status changes.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year dealership experience
- Must be able to write clear and precise repair instructions
- Provide estimates for labor and parts
- Establish/determine customers method of payment
- Obtain customers signature on PO
- Continuous communication on jobs throughout the day
- Coordinate with manufacturer and/or extended warranty companies for approval in advance of repairs
- Be knowledgeable of products and services
- Meet or exceed sales quotas set by management
- Test drive vehicles when necessary
- Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and/or drug screening
