Job Summary
Greet customers promptly, document vehicle concerns, and create accurate repair orders. Recommend maintenance and repair services based on inspections, providing clear explanations of costs and timelines. Coordinate with technicians and the parts department to ensure efficient workflow while maintaining consistent communication regarding service status. Identify upsell opportunities for additional services and preventative maintenance. Review completed work for accuracy, deliver vehicles back to customers, and ensure satisfaction. Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and foster repeat business. This role supports Group 1 Automotive's fully integrated experience in sales, financing, and aftersales service across the U.S. and U.K.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance services
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to recommend services confidently
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with dealership service software and computer systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
