Job Summary
As a Service Advisor/Service Writer at Dykstra's Auto (GreatWater garage) in Kentwood, MI, you will serve as the primary link between customers and technicians, greeting customers, answering service questions, selling maintenance and repair services, entering vehicle data into shop software, documenting service needs, preparing estimates, obtaining authorizations, coordinating with technicians, assigning work orders, tracking progress, notifying customers of completion, and assisting with shop operations. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, organization, and teamwork within a professional automotive repair shop. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year Service Advisor / Service Writer experience preferred

- Basic computer/shop management software literacy
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
