Automotive Service Advisor

As an Automotive Service Advisor at Acura of Honolulu, you will initiate automotive services by identifying performance problems and service requests, verify warranty and service contract coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer records. You will serve as the liaison between the customer and technician, ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and that recommended services are clearly communicated to the customer. Responsibilities include developing estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer payments including deductibles; preparing repair orders and entering them into the service database; communicating additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection; administering manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs; and keeping customers informed of service specials, completion times, and expenses. Qualifications include prior Service Advisor experience (preferred), a basic mechanical understanding, a valid driver’s license, and High School graduate or equivalent.
