Job Summary
Greet customers and identify service needs in the dealership's service department; communicate service recommendations, costs, and timelines; conduct vehicle walk-arounds, obtain approvals for inspections and additional services, dispatch repair orders to technicians, and provide accurate estimates with upfront pricing. Maintain clear communication with customers during repair, follow the CD process, and ensure follow-up to keep customers informed about status and completion.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Automotive Service Advisor experience
- Automotive experience
- Strong communication skills
- Typing ability to enter repair orders efficiently
- Mathematics – calculating service costs
- Basic computer skills
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence
