Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor at Blain's Farm & Fleet will handle automotive services in a customer service and sales focused environment, assisting customers with purchases, using computers to determine inventory and set up work orders in the VAST system, explaining work orders and invoices, performing Retail Cashier duties, and installing batteries, balancing wheels, repairing/installing tires, and performing oil changes when required. The role requires adherence to Loss Prevention and safety policies, and the ability to interpret vehicle inspection results to make service recommendations. Opportunities for ASE testing/certifications and a benefits package are described, with weekend premium pay noted.
Required Qualifications
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
