Job Summary
Meet and greet customers, determine the nature of their vehicle problems, and create Repair Order Requests detailing necessary service or merchandise. Obtain customer approval before delivering orders to service personnel, then review completed repairs and collect payment. Perform daily cash and sales procedures at close of business, maintain showroom cleanliness, and restock displays as needed. Comply with Company Quality Control, Safety Policy, OSHA, and EPA regulations. Requires high school graduation, knowledge of auto maintenance issues, and experience using Mitchell Repair and other service software.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or comparable vocational training
- Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software
- Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance issues
- Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a retail environment, preferably auto/truck tire, lubrication and maintenance
- 3+ years experience as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership or comparable professional environment
- Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician
