Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor needed to deliver timely, high-quality automotive services and excellent customer service in a retail environment. Responsibilities include assisting customers with purchases in a sales-focused setting, using computers to determine inventory and to set up work orders and communicate with the service department via the VAST system, explaining work orders and invoices to customers, performing retail cashier duties, installing batteries, balancing wheels, and installing tires when required, conducting LOF oil changes, adhering to loss-prevention and safety policies, and interpreting vehicle inspection results to make service recommendations. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to obtain ASE certifications, and prior auto repair and/or retail experience is preferred.
