Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor role at Blain's Farm & Fleet in Madison, WI. Responsible for delivering timely automotive services with strong customer service and sales focus. Duties include assisting customers, using computers to check inventory and set up work orders in the VAST system, explaining work orders and invoices, performing retail cashier duties, installing batteries, balancing wheels, tires, and performing oil changes per LOF procedures. Emphasizes loss prevention, safety compliance, and providing service recommendations based on vehicle inspections. Training to achieve Level I status with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Must have great communication skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Ability to read and speak English
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior auto repair experience preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
