Job Summary
Automotive Service Advisor position greeting customers, assessing service and repair needs, and presenting maintenance and repair recommendations in a clear, professional manner. Responsible for preparing estimates, work orders, and invoices using the shop’s POS system; coordinating with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and quality control; maintaining inventory and ordering parts as needed; monitoring profit margins and helping achieve sales and productivity goals; following up to ensure customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships. The role also involves generating new business by calling on local commercial accounts and fleet customers and maintaining a professional front office environment; mentoring less experienced team members and promoting a collaborative team culture. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30AM–5:30PM with occasional overtime; weekends are not required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of sales or customer service experience in an automotive repair or service environment preferred
- Knowledge of fleet accounts and aftermarket warranty companies is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and certification growth
